The trail entrance is off North Road opposite Boulevard De Nantes, to the rear of Cardiff Castle.

Entry via other locations i.e. West Lodge or Sophia Garden’s entrance is not possible.
Please note there is no parking at the location.
The main event entrance to our event is from North Road, at the rear of Cardiff Castle, opposite Cardiff Crown Court and Boulevard De Nantes. Follow the path along the side of Cardiff Castle wall to find our Box Office and event entrance.

We don’t have any on-site parking at Bute Park, however there are a variety of parking facilities nearby. Pay and display car parking facilities are available nearby in Castle Mews (CF10 3ER) and North Road (CF10 3EA), College Road, King Edward VII Avenue & Museum Avenue.
Parking is limited in the area, especially close to the festive period, so we encourage people to utilise public transport where possible.

For disabled parking, we recommend the North Road car parks. There is some disabled parking directly outside the park but the spaces can be very limited. We don’t have the capability for customers to reserve this.

Distances are measured to the entrance of the event; please factor this and queue times into your visit.
There are a number of stops just near our entrance – with Law Courts Stop and Kingsway Stop on North Road being the closest.
